Evert Tennis Academy is a full-time tennis academy, camp, and boarding program in Boca Raton, Florida. Since 1996, we have helped junior and adult players from across the United States and around the world pursue tennis at the collegiate and professional level while growing into confident, well-rounded people.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to develop collegiate and professional tennis players while building well-rounded student-athletes. In a family-oriented environment, we encourage every player to meet daily challenges on the court, in the classroom, and in competition and to measure progress by their own potential, not by anyone else’s timeline.
A champion’s foundation
The academy was co-founded by Chris Evert, winner of 18 Grand Slam singles titles, and is led by director and developmental coach John Evert. That heritage sets the standard for how we coach: with patience, precision, and a long-term view of each athlete’s development. To date, Evert has been the training home of more than 15 Grand Slam participants and over 100 Division I college athletes.
How we train
Every Evert program balances four elements – technical skill, tactical understanding, mental conditioning, and physical fitness. Players receive a personalized plan and work with a coaching staff whose experience spans the ATP and WTA tours, college tennis, and elite junior development. Full-time students combine daily on-court training with on-campus academics through our school partner, so tennis and education move forward together.
Our campus in Boca Raton
Our private campus in the Mission Bay area of Boca Raton offers tournament-grade courts, dedicated fitness and recovery facilities, and on-campus boarding for full-time students. It is a secure, focused environment where players train, study, and live as part of the Evert community.
