The Developmental Program at Evert Tennis Academy is designed to take players to the next level by providing a very exclusive, individualized program.  This program systematically addresses every aspect of a player’s game by daily technical, tactical, and match-play training.  Evert Tennis Academy’s Strength & Conditioning and Mental Conditioning departments will also work very closely with all Evert Tennis Academy students on a daily basis in order to fully reach each student’s maximum potential at Evert.  The difference between the Developmental Program and Academy Program lies within the daily 1:1 lesson (see Daily Schedules).

Student-athletes in the Developmental Program go through a comprehensive evaluation that takes into consideration all elements of the game.  The evaluation and development is overseen by a Coach-Manager who directs the student’s progress throughout the semester/year. 

Once the initial evaluation is complete, Coach-Managers will determine the individual direction of each student and implement a detailed developmental plan.  Short and long-term strategy is discussed in order to achieve each student’s goals.  Representatives from each department are periodically present on the court to observe and evaluate progress and make sure individual needs are being met.  Parents will receive regular progress reports from their respective Coach-Manager.

Tuition 2024 – 2025

• Tuition is payable in advance, either by semester or for the full academic year.  
• A $4,000 non-refundable deposit is payable upon acceptance to reserve a place.This deposit is credited towards whatever payment plan is selected. 
• Winter Vacation is from December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Dorms are closed during these 2 weeks. Not included in tuition.
• Spring Break (2 weeks) is from March 16, 2025 to March 29, 2025. Not included in tuition.
• Boarding includes: accommodations, 3 meals per day, tennis program (inclusive of fitness and mental training) and local transportation when available.
• Please contact GRANDVIEW PREP for tuition rates. The academic school needs to be paid separately. The prices above do not include school.

The Academy Program at Evert is geared towards players who are committed to an intensive training schedule in an effort to maximize their potential both on and off the court. Through a daily regimen of technical, tactical, mental, and physical training, the Academy Program at Evert systematically addresses every aspect of a player’s game. The morning training session is composed of drilling, and strength and conditioning. The program is continued in the afternoon with a focus towards competition and tactics. Combined with physical conditioning, mental toughness and nutritional training, the Academy Program aims to reach individual goals.

Players have open access to a Coach-Manager and full integration with the players in the Developmental Program. The Evert Tennis Academy Programs efficiently deliver results, while still promoting the student-athlete as a whole.

The Afternoon Academy is geared towards 12-and-under players who are committed to an intensive training program, but are limited due to school schedules. This program is designed for players wanting to develop the fundamentals needed to become world-class junior players, and ultimately college or professional players. 

The Afternoon Academy’s main focus is directed towards movement and competition, including technical and tactical elements.We know the importance of efficient and explosive movement and footwork so we focus on the things below:

• The ability to “see” the ball early
• First reaction to the ball
• Contact moves (footwork before, during and after contact with the ball)
• Recovery

Students enroll in the Afternoon Academy on an annual or semester basis. We do have a limited enrollment in order to keep the coach-to-student ratio small – make sure to sign-up early to reserve your spot in the program!

Training will start at 3:45PM and it will end at 5:45PM Monday through Friday. We will also provide fitness twice a week depending on the training cycle.

Grandview Preparatory School is an independent college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in Boca Raton, FL in 1997. It offers enrollment for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 and was the sole recipient of the 2019 Best of Boca Raton Award in the Private Schools category.

Dormitory (13.5 to 18 years old)
Boarding students enrolled in the Academy program stay in a three-story dormitory.  Each dorm room houses two students during the academic year.  There is a bathroom between each pair of rooms which is professionally cleaned on a weekly basis.  Boys and girls are housed on separate floors in the dorms. 

All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with cable hook-ups, safe wireless internet access. Each floor has security cameras and counselor rooms. On the first floor of the dormitory, there is the cafeteria, lounge, laundry room, and a student common area.  The Student Services staff daily inspects rooms, bathrooms and common areas to ensure appropriate living conditions.  Boarding students eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our Cafeteria.  To satisfy appetites from varied backgrounds and cultures, Evert Tennis Academy provides an ample range of cuisine and multiple nutritional selections for each meal. 

Non-Boarding

• Check-in is on Monday 15 minutes prior the Start Time. A Evert staff member will contact you on the Friday prior arrival to let you know about the Start Time.

• Lunch - Monday-Friday
