Joel "jojo" Nicholson

Joel “jojo” Nicholson is a former High School and Collegiate Soccer Player. Born in Kingston, Jamaica. Studied at Hocking College, where he obtained a degree in Exercise Science. Certifications with NASM, ACSM and PES.

He began training athletes in the South Florida area 25 years ago and was the former group director of Boca Athletic Club. Over the years he quickly developed a clientele which includes most of the prominent professional athletes who reside in the area.

Some athletes who he has worked extensively with include Chris Carter (NFL Hall of Famer), Ed Jovanovski (NHL All star player), David Palm (Pro Volleyball player), Danny Valencia (Pro Baseball player), Morgan Pressel (LPGA US Open Champion) just to mention a few. He has also worked with University and High School Teams and numerous Athletes who have competed at the Collegiate level.
 
Jojo has worked personally with John Evert for over 2 decades and during the course of the years they have worked together with several tennis players including Jennifer Capriati (Grand Slam Champion), Sebastian Grosjean (ATP #3) and US Open finalist Madison Keys.
